A crisis management call center company was frustrated with their existing premise based PBX contact center that was aging and required ongoing software updates to keep the features and functionality working. Specifically, there was no quality management or workforce management tools. All product features that were crucial to maintain a high level of responsiveness to their patients and reporting.
After a lengthy discussion and analysis of the current solution, it was determined it was best to explore different contact center vendors in order to meet the customers end goal of finding one cloud contact center provider who offered key features the customer was needing. A key requirement was agents to have the ability to transfer or connect the inbound callers to other skilled managers without putting the caller on hold. This feature was a deal killer and was a must have.
After reviewing more than three different cloud contact center platforms it was determined they needed the ability to move to a cloud solution for their remote staff. The winning supplier was able to customize the solution to include the no hold conferencing that was critical along with integrating office workers with the contact center agent.
